Vector Freebie: Route Sign

The latest craze across the internet, in various niches, is the idea of freebies, especially in the design community. So I figured, Hey, why don’t I join in.

I was recently working on a T-Shirt design for the epic adventure that three high school graduates will be taking in a couple of weeks (DriveAmerica). And in this design, I really wanted your typical highway route sign. So I scoured the internets, looking for a vector version, but came up empty handed. It was then that I realized that this was not that complicated of a design and that I should be able to handle. So off I went.

Now, bear in mind I am completely self-taught when it comes to Illustrator and because of this my techniques may not be 100% professional. So, if you see any problems like this in the artwork please let me know in the comments.
